Renovated in 2014, the hotel was originally opened in 1956 by the Swedish royal family, and was Ernest Hemingway's Madrid home. “Probably one of best boutique hotel I have stayed in. What a terrific find in a great Madrid location, super cool hotel just close to museums, shopping and great neighborhoods. We have visited this hotel three times over the past 2 months and the experience, every time is better than the previous one. Placed in a vibrant neighborhood, two minutes away from Gran Vía and located inside an awesome classy property, it is like an oasis when we come back from our long journeys walking around Madrid. Excellent service, friendly staff that make us feel welcome everytime. Definitely, it will be a sixth time for us. Great job and keep up the good work and service. 110% satisfied!!”
